Situated on a hill among the trees of its namesake wood, the Montefreddo agriturismo offers the traditional flavours of the most characteristic dishes from the area in a very neat atmosphere with a pleasant view of the Adriatic Sea. We make a superb "ventricina" in-house, which is a famous local salami seasoned with special red peppers.
The establishment sleeps 10 people in finely decorated rooms with amenities.
In addition, there are places to relax and have fun. Activities include hiking, mountain biking, animal-watching in the wood, exploring the surrounding area, and the use of the swimming pool and tennis courts.
Popular tourist attractions are just a short distance away. For example, the Tremiti Islands, the "Parco Nazionale d'Abruzzo" (Abruzzo's large national park in the mountains), the Sanctuary at Canneto, "Schiavi d'Abruzzo" (an archaelogical site of Italic Temples), Agnone and San Giovanni Rotondo.
