This trattoria was founded way back in 1929 by Vittoria Di Bello
as a tribute to simple, authentic cooking. Though it
has undergone rennovations over time, it has remained faithful
to those fundamental
principles that preserve the traditional recipes characteristic of
the area, specifically of Schiavi d'Abruzzo, Castiglione Messer
Marino and
Torrebruna.
Currently the trattoria is managed by the original founder's grandson,
Vittorio Di Carlo, whose culinary knowledge has been inherited, as
it was passed down through the generations. This enables him to offer
clients
the increasingly rare old-fashioned flavours of the Abruzzo traditionally
known to be simultaneously robust and warmhearted.
